Together, we uplift and empower those who care for others.
Our team has been active in the community, listening, learning, and identifying how we can better support SNAP recipients, especially mothers and children who rely on nutritional assistance.
The National STEM Society’s onsite and mobile computer lab delivers on-demand educational support, on-the-job training, and direct access to SNAP case status updates. We also assist participants with gathering required documentation and verification materials. These services help meet government expectations, including the 80 monthly volunteer hours needed to maintain SNAP benefits for eligible adults and students. We’re committed to taking meaningful action by launching hands-on training programs and nutrition awareness workshops within local neighborhoods. These initiatives give SNAP recipients the opportunity to volunteer with us, fulfill required reporting hours, and build valuable job skills that can create lasting impact for themselves and their families.
